English club Crystal Palace are considering a move for Augsburg full-back Daniel Opare, according to reports from The Sun.

The 25-year-old right-back will be allowed to leave Augsburg on a free this summer after a year in the Bundesliga.

Palace have made some decent signings this summer, bringing in the likes of Andros Townsend, Steven Mandanda and James Tomkins, and now manager Alan Pardew is hoping to land a few further additions before the transfer window slams shut at the end of August.

The German club are believed to be willing to allow the former Real Madrid, Standard Liege, Porto and Besiktas to leave for free with his piqued the interest of Palace.

Middlesbrough, Bournemouth and West Brom are also keeping tabs on him, while Norwich and prepared to take him to the Championship.

Opare, who was in the last Ghana squad for the World Cup, had two seasons with Real Madrid B before spells at Standard Liege and Porto.
