The Opoku Nti led management came under severe criticism from all quarters due to the club’s poor start to the Ghana Premier League which led to the dismissal of David Duncan.
However, after that decision, the former Premier League champions started picking up the pieces and they ended the first round of games on a good note as they are currently 3rd position with 26 points.
Duncan who was dismissed three months ago has broken his silence for the first time since leaving Asante Kotoko. The former Hearts of Oak gaffer has taken a strong swipe at Opoku Nti’s led administration.
‘’Kotoko is too huge a brand for the current management members,’’ he told Kumasi-based Metro FM.
‘’I promised a sponsorship for Kotoko but those I wanted to bring in told me the management members now cannot manage the deal.’’
