A veteran of 55 Tests, the 28-year-old has been ruled out of the remaining two Tests.

Wallabies coach Michael Cheika is yet to name a replacement, but Ben McCalman and Wycliff Palu appear most likely.

Australia are heading to Melbourne on Sunday ahead of the second Test at AAMI Park.
