Dentsu Ghana launches school of influence to professionalise Ghana’s creator economy
Dentsu Ghana has launched the Dentsu School of Influence (DSOI) Ghana, a five-day industry-led programme designed to equip emerging influencers and content creators with the skills, commercial knowledge and professional standards needed to build sustainable careers.
The initiative comes as Ghana’s creator economy continues to expand, with brands increasingly partnering with influencers across telecommunications, FMCG, financial services, technology and lifestyle. Over the past year, Dentsu Ghana has engaged close to 1,000 influencers and creators across client campaigns, highlighting the growing need for professional development within the sector.
DSOI Ghana is part of a global Dentsu thought leadership and social impact initiative focused on investing in the future of the creative and digital economy. Following launches in South Africa and Kenya, Ghana is the latest market to introduce the programme.
The five-day programme will feature masterclasses, practical workshops, mentorship, Creator Studio sessions, industry panels and brand engagement, with experts from strategy, marketing, production, legal, platforms and communications.
Participants will develop skills across five core areas: The Psychology of Influence, Platform Mastery, The Road to Great Content, Brand Partnerships & Campaign Success, and The Business of Being a Creator.
The Ghana edition is supported by Telecel Ghana, Weave Ghana Limited, AB InBev, GTP and GBfoods, alongside experienced industry professionals serving as facilitators and faculty.
DSOI Ghana will also coincide with the launch of the Dentsu Creative Studio and culminate in a Creator Pitch Showcase, where participants will present campaign ideas to an industry panel, with the top three recognised for excellence.
Speaking on the initiative, Andrew Ackah, CEO of Dentsu Ghana, said the programme is designed to help creators turn their influence into sustainable careers while creating greater value for brands and audiences.
Applications open on 21st August 2026 and close on 3rd September 2026. The programme is open to aspiring and emerging creators aged 18 and above, resident in Accra, with a passion for content creation and a unique perspective. Interested person can apply via https://bit.ly/4x83Z0N
