“I wish my son was in coma” – Deceased journalist’s mum
The deceased, Samuel Nuamah
Nuamah who was part of President Mahama's press corps on their way to Accra from the Volta Regional capital, Ho, died in the accident on Thursday afternoon around Dodowa.

Mother of Samuel Nuamah, deceased Ghanaian Times’ reporter, has said that she is shattered over the death of her son.

Speaking on Kasapa FM’s on Friday, Madam Georgina Opoku said she was devastated and wished her son was in coma.
“Sammy means so much to me; I don’t know how to put myself together. I wish I had rather woken up to the news that he would been in coma and not this tragic loss,” she said.
His corpse is currently deposited at the 37 Military Hospital morgue.

Three others, Pascaline Adadevoh of GBC, Napoleon Ato Kittoe of GTV, Patrick Bida are reported to be responding to treatment.
There were 20 journalists in the vehicle.
