Many Ghanaians on social media are asking why the speech delivered by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was leaked before he read it on the commemoration of Ghana’s 60th independence anniversary celebration.

The president read the speech at the Independence Square, on Monday, March 6, 2017.
Most people got access to the speech via social media, mainly through WhatsApp platform.

Many have expressed worry on social media demanding answers from the Director of Communications at the presidency, Eugene Arhin.
Others have said that it was not leaked. They argue that the same speech was delivered by the regional ministers in their respective regions.
