Finn, 27, suffered the injury during the 10-wicket fourth Test loss to Pakistan at The Oval last week.

The fast bowler was omitted from England's squad for the five-match one-day international series against Mickey Arthur's tourists, which starts at The Rose Bowl in Southampton next Wednesday.

"Steven Finn has sustained a left hamstring tear," the ECB said in a statement.

"He is anticipated to be available in approximately four weeks.
