Ghana defender Abdul Baba Rahman was in action on Thursday as his Schalke side continue to be liberated from their Bundesliga woes in the Europa League.
The German club made it three wins from three in the compeitition this season, with Yevhen Konoplyanka scoring the winner away against Krasnodar in Russia - a match that Baba Rahman played full 90 minutes.
Konoplyanka showed great technique to volley in the games only goal after Krasnodar only half cleared a corner on 11 minutes.
The win maintains Schalke's 100 percent start in the Europa League this season.
Baba Rahman has been consistent in the shirt of the Royal Blues this season and played a key role in his side's hard-fought victory in Russia.
The Ghana left back scored the winning goal when Schalke beat OG Nice in France in the first game of the UEFA Europa League.
Schalke have already won their last two Europa League games against Salzburg and OG Nice before squaring up against Krasnodar.
