Disregard fake document on Kwabena Agyepong's suspension - NPP
The disciplinary committee of the New Patriotic Party has asked the public to disregard media report on the proceedings at the committee's sitting with General secretary Kwabena Agyepong.
A statement signed by the Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee Rt. Dr. Rev. Asante Antwi said, "The account, procedure and language used at our hearings is completely different from what is contained in the fake document."
Read excerpts of the statement below:
"Our attention has been drawn to a document on the website of myjoyonline.com, purporting to be the unedited transcript of the disciplinary proceedings of the New Patriotic Party.
I want to urge all to disregard the said transcript as it is not the true reflection of what transpired at the committee hearing.
The account, procedure and language used at our hearings is completely different from what is contained in the fake document.
The suspended General Secretary convinced the committee with receipts of payment of his Toyota Land Cruiser and the allegation that his wife was on government scholarship also turned out to be false.
A Deputy Director of Communications, one Perry Okudzeto came for the original transcript with the intention of printing them for NEC members and archiving it and we are surprised a distorted version is out there in the media.
We urge the young man to take immediate steps to rectify his deeds with the media house.
