Fenerbahce maintained their perfect record in Euroleague's Top 16 with a thrilling 106-100 win at Istanbul rivals Darussafaka Dogus on Friday.

Group E leaders Fener put up 37 points in the first quarter alone, setting the tone for a high-scoring encounter that saw both teams reach three figures – a first in Euroleague this season.

Bobby Dixon was central to the visitors' fast start and finished with 24 points, while Jan Vesely and Ekpe Udoh also excelled prior to a late Darussafaka comeback that set up a nervy finish.

Fener coach Zeljko Obradovic was quoted by Euroleague's official website as saying: "That was an important game for us. In my opinion people started too much to talk that we are favourites and everything is easy for us. But we must be more realistic and there will be no easy games."

Elsewhere in Group E, Crvena Zvezda held off a rally from Unicaja to claim victory for the second week running.

Unicaja were only three points behind early in the fourth quarter, having trailed for most of the game, but the Belgrade outfit finished strongly to triumph 87-73.

There was a shock in Group F as Olympiacos went down 75-55 at Zalgiris – a team previously winless in the Top 16.

Paulius Jankunas starred with 18 points to help secure a first Euroleague success under Sarunas Jasikevicius.

"Of course, you don't expect things like this," said Jasikevicius. "But I think we had a plan and we executed it."

Khimki lead Group F courtesy of their 78-61 home victory over Brose Baskets Bamberg, who fell away after trailing by just two points at half-time.
