Hull FC have started the 2016 Super League season in superb form and were far too strong for Catalans Dragons in a 38-10 win on Saturday.

Fetuli Talanoa was in sensational form as Hull FC continued their impressive start to the Super League campaign by thrashing Catalans Dragons 38-10 at the Stade Gilbert Brutus.

The brilliant Talanoa crossed the whitewash twice as Hull racked up a seven-try victory in Perpignan to follow up last weekend's 42-20 triumph over the Salford Red Devils.

Talanoa and Sika Manu, who each exposed sloppy Catalans defending that became increasingly prevalent, crossed early on, only for Pat Richards to haul the hosts level on both occasions.

Josh Bowden and Jack Logan ensured Hull took a healthy lead into the interval, while Gareth Ellis - making his return from an Achilles injury - went over after the restart despite the loss of Leon Pryce to the sin-bin for tackling a player off the ball.

Talanoa then added his second before setting up Jamie Shaul for the final try, and the pair had further scores ruled out by the television match official.

Catalans remain winless after two rounds, but Hull appear a force to be reckoned with in the early stages of the campaign.
