Force India's Sergio Perez unsure on Formula One future
Sergio Perez remains in the dark as to where his Formula One future lies as he prepares for the Belgian Grand Prix this weekend.
The Mexican, previously of Sauber and McLaren, joined Force India in 2014 and has recorded two podium finishes this season, securing 48 points prior to the mid-season break.
Speculation continues to rumble on as to where he will race in 2017, with Williams and Renault mentioned as possible destinations, and the man himself is as unsure as anyone.
When asked if he knew any details of his future, Perez replied: "No. I think it's a bit early in the year; obviously as a driver you want to know what you're doing as early as possible, just to have the stability on the back of you, but it doesn't change anything.
"I'm focusing on this weekend, I want to achieve a very good second half of the year, so that is where my target is at the moment - I want to give everything to get the Williams [for fourth].
"It cannot take [much] longer as in a few months the season is over, so I hope well before the season is over I know my future."
