Formula One: No action against Mercedes' Nico Rosberg

There will be no action taken against Hungarian Grand Prix pole-sitter Nico Rosberg, who was under investigation for possible speeding while yellow flags were in force.

The Formula One drivers' championship leader pipped Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton with his final lap in qualifying on Saturday.

Hamilton led after the first runs in Q3, but was denied the chance to improve on his time when Fernando Alonso's spin brought out the yellow flags.

Rosberg was able to benefit from the flags' withdrawal, but doubts were raised as to whether the German had slowed down sufficiently at one corner with speed restrictions in place.

Two tweets from Mercedes announced Rosberg had been called in to speak to the stewards, but F1 later confirmed he would face no punishment.

"No further action will be taken following Nico Rosberg's meeting with the stewards. He retains pole position. #HungarianGP #F1," a tweet from F1's official account read.

"According to the stewards, "telemetry demonstrated that the driver reduced speed significantly into Turn 8". #F1 #HungarianGP."
