Kit Harington who plays Jon Snow in "Game of Thrones," has finally opened up on the death and return of his character.

In an interview with BBC Breakfast, Kit Harington confirmed that his "Game of Thrones"character was killed at the end of season five.

"I think anyone who wants to know what happens in season six has to wait until it comes out," he replied to being in the promotional materials released.

"All I can tell you is Jon Snow is dead. He died at the end of last season," he added.

When asked if his spirit lives on, the 29-year old replied "Who knows? We'll have to wait and see. It's going to be a very exciting season, so I'm led to believe."

The undefinedeason of show came to an end in June 2014 with the undefined In 2015, Harrngton was spotted around Belfast, Ireland, where the HBO show films its interior scenes.

According to fan site Watchers on the Wall, the actor arrived town to film Season 6.

A recent released for the show's sixth season features a bloody Jon Snow, and resurrected the question "Is Snow alive?
