Ali Jarra vows never to accept Hearts of Oak’s coaching offer

The former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper has stated that he will never take up a coaching job at the club

The Hearts of Oak caretaker coach, Yaw Preko and Nassamu, the goalkeepers’ trainer, who both played for the club have resigned in a space of one week from the technical team of the Phobians.

Yaw Preko, in an interview, cited lack of respect from the management among other reasons for vacating his post.

And Ali Jarra, who is a goalkeepers’ trainer by profession says he won’t return to Hearts of Oak in the future to take up an appointment due to the way past players of the club are treated.

“In Hearts of Oak the higher you go the lower you become. Hearts of Oak have no respect for old players, who end up serving the club, but they respect people who come from outside.

“I will not accept an offer to work for Accra Hearts of Oak due that behaviour,” Ali Jarra told Pulse Sports.

Ali Jarra played kept the post for Hearts of Oak between 1991 to 1993.
