Hearts of Oak board happy with club's performance in the second round

The Phobians after post-Kenichi Yastsuhashi’s era have played three games in the league –winning one and drawing two which has put the new trainer Sergio Traguil under intense pressure.

Though the Accra giants in those three games have displayed great piece of football, they have been woeful upfront which the fans of the club are not happy with the current trend.

“The people criticizing the play of Hearts of Oak doesn’t know anything about football. Certain coaches after our game against Aduana Stars said they have positively seen a lot of difference in Hearts team,” Akanbi told Asempa FM.

“Why are some of our supporters behaving like that, some of our issues you will see people personalizing it, it is time they have to stop doing that and face the fact. Now Hearts of Oak are playing possession football.

“The team is now made up of young players like Samudeen Ibrahim, Patrick Razak and Cosmos Dauda. We want to prove a point it is just a matter of a little time, let us build this boys the next two years to come you will see what is football, total football,” he assured.

The Phobians are third on the log sheet with 31 points and they will play as guests to Sekondi Hasaacas on match day 19 of the ongoing domestic top-flight.
