Akuffo, 30 who has been with Asante Kotoko since 2011, but has been struggling to break into the team, after returning from his loan spell in the Lebanese League.

He has accused the management of Kotoko of being insensitive to his plight following his injury.

"Kotoko management took my medical report and told me their doctor told them I cannot play football again," he told Angel FM

"This happened when I went there to take my four months’ unpaid salary.

"This current Kotoko management are very wicked. They are very wicked."

"If your are not ready to help me why then are you not willing to pay me my monthly salary which is 4 months.

"If you are a human being and you will never understand and will ask yourself what is my crime to deserve this from Kotoko? he quizzed
