Olympics were held to a 1-1 draw by Kotoko at the Baba Yara stadium over the weekend.

The ‘Dade boys’ took an early lead through a David Agordome strike, but were pegged back in the second half after centre referee McLord Arhin awarded Kotoko a penalty.

Striker Sadick Adams subsequently slotted home to bring the Porcupine Warriors back on level terms, resulting in a 1-1 draw.

Olympics coach, Tom Strand believes his side should have won the game, insisting the penalty decision by the referee was “not fair”.

“We deserved to pick all the points, the penalty I think was not fair, it was a dubious one,” the former Medeama coach said in the aftermath of the game.

He added that a draw “is good for us, we will now go and work ahead of our next game.”

The result means Olympics now lie on 12th position – two points above the relegation zone.
