Medeama SC and Aduana Stars drew 0-0 in week 24 of the Ghana Premier League at the Tarkwa T&A Park on Saturday.
The draw thus take Aduana Stars to the top of the Premier League table with 44 points, one point better than WAFA who have two outstanding games
The match which was hyped around Medeama supporters insistence on barring Premier League TV rights dealers StarTimes from telecasting the game, started on a slow pace as both sides failed to create any clear cut chance.
The away side dominated the home side in the first 30 minutes of the game but they just couldn’t bury the chances they created.
Medeama who looked the better side especially in the second half could not make use of the numerous opportunities with Aduana Stars goalkeeper Joseph Addo also preventing the home side from finding the back of the net with some important saves late in the game.
Aduana closed the gap on WAFA at the summit of the table to two points but the Sogakofe-based side have two games in hand.
