The National Division One side have pledged a cash of GH¢ 2,000 to support Kumasi Asante Kotoko after suffering a fatal road accident.

Phar Rangers have sympathised with Kumasi Asante Kotoko following road accident that hit  the club on Wednesday while returning to Kumasi from a mid-week league game.

This pledge was announced by the president of Phar Rangers, Nana Yaw Amponsah.

The Akropong Akuapem based club have offered to support Asante Kotoko with a cash of GH¢ 2,000 to help them cover some of the debt incurred following the accident.

Asare the Equipment Officer of the club passed away and several others got injured and are currently receiving treatment at the Akomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

The Porcupine Warriors lost match day 22 league game at Inter Allies which happened to be their first defeat of the second round and on their way back to Kumasi their team bus ran into a stationery car on the Nkawkaw road.
