Seidu Bancey banned for the rest of the season

The former Dwarfs and New Edubiase United player was accused of heckling the centre referee in Kotoko's 2-1 defeat against New Edubiase United.

The Disciplinary Committee after its sitting found the player guilty of the charges levelled against him and has therefore banned him for the rest of the season.

However, two other Kotoko players who were charged with a similar offence in the said game, Ernest Sowah, Amos Frimpong and the club’s equipment officer were all cleared by the Committee, after watching footage of the game and hearing the sides of the accused.
