The Academy lads were highly tipped to win the tie and they did it in grand style as they taught the Sekondi based club some football lessons.

WAFA before the break took a goal lead via Gideon Waija’s splendid finish as Hasaacas’ defense were caught off guard by some swift movements from the home side.

In the second half, the home side took total control of the game as Samuel Tetteh doubled his side’s lead before Charles Boateng made it three.

Samuel Tetteh registered his brace and WAFA’s fourth goal and late in the game he scored his third goal as the Sogakope based club won the game 5-0.

Meanwhile at the Techiman Park, Aduana Stars’ woes continued as they lost 1-0 to Techiman City on Sunday.

Stephen Manu failed to put Techiman City into the lead after his 10 minute spot kick hit the cross bar as the away side were left of the hook.

But Manu however, became the hero of the day as he sneaked past Aduana Stars defense to score the only goal of the game before the break.

The result means that the former Premier League champions have played three games without a point.
