Pescara found themselves languishing at the bottom of the league table all season long and not even could Sulley Muntari who joined them in the second half of the season inspire them to leapfrog their opponents.

However, Muntari who signed a six-month deal with Pescara has been on the sidelines since he walked off the field after racial chants against Cagliari.

On the final day of the season they picked up a point against Fiorentina when they held them to a two all draw.
