Gillespie to leave Yorkshire at end of season

Jason Gillespie is to leave his role as Yorkshire coach at the end of the season.

Gillespie, who was previously linked with the England head coach position before the job went to Trevor Bayliss as well as a coaching role with his native Australia, is to return to his homeland.

The 41-year-old's wife and children have already returned to Australia, where Gillespie is coach of Big Bash League side Adelaide Strikers.

Gillespie took over in 2011 and has led Yorkshire to back-to-back County Championship titles in 2014 and 2015. Yorkshire are five points behind Middlesex in their quest for a third consecutive league crown.
