Pulse.com.gh broke the news that Ritchie died at the plush hotel  while binge drinking.

Eyewitnesses told Pulse.com.gh that Ritchie kept drinking while mulling over the death of British MP Jo Cox.

Superintendent Jonathan Lamptey of the Kumasi Central district commander who confirmed the news yesterday said the police is still in the process of ensuring that a postmortem is conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

He said they are also in process of notifying the British Embassy in Ghana.
