Despite enjoying the larger share of possession and creating some chances in the second half, Mariano Barreto’s side couldn’t find the winner.
The result means Kotoko are currently level on 46 points with Hearts of Oak, but sit in second due to their rivals’ superior goal difference.
The Phobians leapfrogged Kotoko after defeating Techiman Eleven Wonders by a lone goal on Friday afternoon.
