GPL suspension has destroyed our plans: Coach of leaders Medeama

Head coach of Medeama has bemoaned the suspension of the Ghana Premier League over Coronavirus scare.

In respect to a directive by the President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo on the ban of all public gathering in the country for a period of four weeks, the Ghana Football Association has also suspended all football activities including the Ghana Premier League (GPL).

Coach of Medema SC Samuel Boadu has said that the suspensions of the Ghana Premier League would affect his team’s current form.

In an interview with Kumasi FM, Boadu said: “The suspension of the league has destroyed all our plans for the league, we are in a very good form but human life is the most important thing.”

“We believe the Lord will do greater things with Medeama in the next five to six years, the Lord is preparing something good for us.”

“The technical team will meet with the management and the players to know the next line of action as to break the team or not.”

Medeama SC are leading the Ghana Premier League table with 30 points after 15 games played.
