Checks at the Judicial Secretariat, revealed that Ayenme was not a qualified lawyer and not fit to handle any case.

An ex-convict Anthony Ayenme has been arrested for practicing as a lawyer at the courts over a year without being noticed.

Anthony Ayenme who was arrested on Wednesday after being spotted by the prosecutor who handled the criminal case against was jailed three years ago for impersonating a Police Officer, but returned to court pretending to be a lawyer after his release.

He was arrested at the Circuit Court dressed as a lawyer and waiting for his case to be called.
