The group beat contenders; Barrington Levy, Jah Cure, Luciano and Rocky Dawuni to scoop the "Best Reggae Album" accolade with their "Strictly Roots" album today (February 15) at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
The group had a fruitful year in 2015. Aside releasing the "Strictly Roots" album, the group went on an album Europe tour dubbed "Strictly Roots Tour" where Ghana's Stonebwoy had a chance to perform with the legendary band.
Rock Dawuni is the first Ghanaian to be nominated for The Grammys. His Grammys nominated album "Branches Of The Same Tree" has also topped several charts and hit no. 10 on Billboard charts.
