Greg Eden is to return to boyhood club Castleford Tigers from next season, the Super League club have confirmed.

The full-back has penned a two-year-deal at The Jungle, which starts in 2017 after the expiry of his contract at Brisbane Broncos.

Eden made just four first-team appearances for Cas before enjoying stints with Huddersfield Giants, Hull KR and Salford Red Devils.

He made the switch to Brisbane in 2015 and spent last season in their feeder team, before impressing with a length-of-the-field try in their World Club Challenge win over Wigar Warriors in February.

Opportunities in the NRL have been hard to come by, though, and Eden spoke of his delight at returning to Cas.

"Coming back to the UK was a massive decision for me to make, but there's no better team for me to return home to than Castleford, my home town club and the team I grew up supporting," he told the club's official website.
