Zooey Deschanel Gets Engaged

This year seems to be an exciting one for the 34-year old actress, Zooey Deschanel as she got engaged to her boyfriend Jacob Pechenik and are planning to get married.

The “New Girl” actress and her fiancé are also expecting a baby in summer as she said in a statement last week.

“Jacob and I are over the moon. “We are so excited to meet our little one.”

The couple are said to have started dating in August last year after she split from her boyfriend of two years, screen writer Jamie Linden. The actress was previously married to Death Cab for Cutie rocker Ben Gibbard, with whom she split in 2012
