It was only a matter of time before robots finally take over the world.

So maybe thats a little extreme but what these robots are made to do these, we are fast approaching the robot age.

If its any consolation, the make up trial using a robot to apply make up to human faces, was a complete failure.

While we think the automated makeup machine still needs a little work, this mechanical shampoo bowl is an harbinger of future beauty works.

The robot created by Japanese company Panasonic is a hybrid between a massage chair and a car wash.

First, it spritzes the scalp with water and shampoo, and then the nubs work to massage the scalp.

We understand this shampoo method could cut minutes off your salon experience, but we foresee tons of tangles for curly-haired clients.

We would all agree though that nothing can replace the total relaxation that comes when your hairstylist hits that perfect, itchy spot.
