The prosecutor of the case where a man is facing trial for killing a seven-year-old girl after which he had sex with the corpse has pleaded for more time in order to complete its bail of indictment.

According to the prosecution represented by an officer at the Attorney General’s office, the delay in presenting the bail of indictment is a result of the failure of the police to forward case docket to the AG on time.
The 22-year-old man Lucas Agboyie, alias “Sympathy”, has been charged with murder.
Confessing in court on his first appearance in September 2016, Agboyie threw his arms wildly about as he described events that led to the little girl’s death.

According to him, on the day of the incident, he had smoked marijuana, right after which he saw the girl passing by his house.
