This adorable picture of a dog showing off her babies would melt your heart

Lilica and her adorable puppies are melting hearts online.

Brazilian photographer Ana Paula Grillo took the terribly cute photos of the family which has since gone viral.

"She was amazing," Grillo said. "She smiled in a way that was just so nice."

This isn't the first time Grillo has worked with non-humans on photo shoots. But her love of animals extends beyond the world of photography.

In her off time, Grillo volunteers to help rescue abandoned pets. They too deserve to be loved and cherished, she says.

Grillo told The Dodo that Lilica is "very well loved and cared for" and all of her puppies have already been adopted.
