15 people killed in refugee camp air strike
No fewer than 15 people have been killed in an airstrike on a refugee camp for internally displaced people in north Yemen.
According to a report from medical humanitarian organisation, Doctors Without Borders (MSF), the Al-Mazraq camp in the northwestern Hajjah province was bombed in an airstrike.
According to Al Jazeera, the MSF official said 500 new families had arrived at the camp over the past 2 days.
Following Yemeni president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi's appeal to the GCC for military assistance against the Houthi rebels, a Saudi-led coalition has been bombing Houthi fighters, who control the capital Sanaa and are trying to advance to the south.
The camp which was bombed has been housing Yemenis displaced by the conflict between northern Houthi rebels and the central government since 2009.
