Here's your 1st look at Jeff Goldblum as David Levinson on set

Jeff Goldblum who played David Levinson in the 1996 original of Roland Emmerich’sIndependence Day is back for the sequel titled ' ID Forever Part I'.

Producer Dean Delvin took to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself with Goldblum, with the caption;

"Hanging with David Levinson (Jeff Goldblum) 20 years later is a dream come true! #IndependenceDay."

While Will Smith and Mae Whitman will be missing from the sequel, fans sure would be seeing undefined

The original Independence Day opened on July 3, 1996 and earned about  $817.4 million worldwide.

The highly-anticipated ]Independence Day 2' is set to hit theaters on June 26, 2016.
