It remains wide open in the Alpine Skiing World Cup super-G standings after Kjetil Jansrud clinched a big win in Kvitfjell on Sunday.

Kjetil Jansrud delighted the home support in Norway with a dominant super-G victory in the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup in Kvitfjell to leave the battle for the discipline's globe wide open with just one race left.

Jansrud, who finished top of the super-G standings last season, picked up maximum points on the Norwegian slopes after clocking a time of one minute and 32.71 seconds.

That was 0.17secs faster than Austrian Vincent Kriechmayr, while Dominik Paris - victor in the downhill at the same venue on Saturday - rounded off the podium.

Jansrud's compatriot Aleksander??Aamodt Kilde placed fourth and he displaces Aksel Lund Svindal - whose season was ended by a serious knee injury in January - at the top of the super-G standings.

Kriechmayr is just 37 points adrift of Kilde, who is 40 points ahead of defending champion??Jansrud.

The World Cup season ends next week, with the super-G finale scheduled to take place on Thursday in St Moritz.
