The 25-year-old saw a surgeon on Monday and is will undergo an operation on Tuesday.

Jantjies was strongly tipped to start against Ireland in a new era under Allister Coetzee, but it remains to be seen if he can play any part in a series which starts in Cape Town on June 11.
