Leicester defender full of praise for Claudio Ranieiri

Leicester's Jeffrey Schlupp has praised manager Claudio Ranieri for his approach this season which he says has kept them grounded.

The Foxes are currently five points clear at the top of the Premier League table ahead of their clash with Newcastle United on Monday night.Tottenham have the chance to cut the gap this weekend when they face Aston Villa but it is looking like a two-team race for the title.

Throughout the entire campaign Ranieri has played down his team's chances of winning silverware but Schlupp believes his approach has enabled them to maintain their challenge.He told Foxes Player: "It just humbles everyone and keeps everyone grounded. We definitely don't want to get carried away and the way the manager has been with us has really just kept us there, kept us going and he always makes sure we keep working, working and not slacking at anything. I think that's important."He's called the Tinkerman but he just keeps working. We've got to trust our manager and trust his decisions."That's what he gets paid for, that's his job so we leave that to him. That's his decision so we just do what he wants and be ready if we're called upon."
