Sceptical about Antonio Brown's alleged concussion, Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam Jones said he will apologise if the Pittsburgh Steelers receiver misses the divisional round game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Jones has been outspoken about Brown's injury following the Bengals' 18-16 loss to the Steelers in last week's AFC wildcard play-off clash, accusing the four-time Pro Bowler of faking.

Brown was hit by Vontaze Burfict late in the game as the Steelers received a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness with 22 seconds remaining, which led to Pittsburgh kicking the game-winning field goal.

And Jones was at it again in a teaser clip tweeted out on Tuesday ahead of an interview with New York Jets receiver Brandon Marshall set to be aired on Showtime's Inside of the NFL, confident the Steelers star will be good to go come Sunday.

"I will send out an apology," Jones said. "If he don't play.

"But you know and I know that when Saturday [Steelers play on Sunday] gets here, all of that is going out the window, man."

Jones added: "When Saturday gets here, whatever time they play, he's going to be cleared Friday. I promise you: 24 hours before the game."
