Ghanaians being hypocritical about "corrupt" judges expose'

Deputy general secretary of the NDC George  Lawson is questioning the "animal farm" attitude  attached to the judicial scandal. by some section of media commentators.

He said so far the commentary on the topic from a lot of national leaders have been to exercise restraint and caution. He argued that, a politician would have been given a different treatment in a similar instance.

“When it comes to politicians people pass judgments ,now it is the judges turn and people are saying we should be circumspect. I heard high level people... since the matter broke have all called for circumspection.  But the same people when it is about politicians, they pass judgment . When it come to the NDC John Mahama’s government is corrupt meanwhile  you cannot substantiate you cannot give any proof. “

There is a huge contention whether or not to show the Anas video  in which many judges are alleged to have taken a bribes to make some cases go away.

Lawyers for the 22 judges who have been suspended  are heading to court today to seek an injunction to prevent the premiering of the video.

George Lawson said on Okay Fm that “it is sad that we are practicing animal farm while all animals are equal some are more equal than others.”

He said very body should be given a fair treatment when it come to corruption scandal.
