The Renault driver remarkably walked away from his car after smashed into a barrier at the famous Eau Rouge corner during Sunday's Belgium Grand Prix.

Magnussen was taken to hospital, but suffered only a cut to his ankle after an accident at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, which could have been much worse.

The 23-year-old was confident he would be fit to get behind the wheel at Monza and his team confirmed on Thursday he had been given the green light.
