Abraham Boadi, Assembly Member for Ridge-Nhyiaso Electoral Area polled 69 votes while Adusei Bonsu Micheal, Assembly Member for Asafo Dadieso Aba Electoral area had 50 votes.

Assembly members are currently locked in a meeting to deliberate on the way forward.

The Assembly has been without a Metropolitan Chief Executive and a Presiding Member as efforts to elect one always ended in a chaos.

Attempts by KMA to elect a PM last week proved futile as the exercise was marred by violence between some Assembly members.

The elections held on Tuesday, September 27 failed to produce two-thirds majority of the votes as required by law, hence the need to conduct another poll.
