He beat off close competition from Fawzy Al Mardy who is head coach at title winners Al Hilal Omdurman and other coaches to win the enviable award.
The 56-year-old took charge of Al Khartoum in December 2014.
Kwesi Appiah, after winning the accolade in Sudan has been linked to the Black Stars job, since Avram Grant has been sweating as coach of Ghana, having failed to win any of the last four games in charge of the team.
Kwesi Appiah became the first indigene to qualify Ghana for the FIFA World Cup in 2014.

However, there are reports that he has signed a new two-year contract with Al Khartoum, with his current deal expected to run out in December.
