Actress to star alongside Tom Hanks in 'Captain Sully' biopic

Actress Laura Linney is the latest addition to Clint Eastwood's upcoming Captain Sully biopic.

The three-time Academy Award nominee, and three-time Tony Award nominee, will play Sully's wife in still-untitled movie.

The movie features Hanks as Capt. Chesley 'Sully' Sullenberger, the heroic pilot who guided US Airways Flight 1549 to safety on the Hudson River in January 2009.

The movie which will be based on Sully’s 2009 book, , will be produced and directed by Clint Eastwood.

Linney previously worked with Eastwood on 2003's Mystic River and 1997's Absolute Power.
