Young Ghanaian goalkeeper, Lwarence Ati Zigi has successfully completed a switch from Red Bull Salzburg to French Ligue 2 side FC Sochaux.

Ati Zigi was a key member of Ghana’s U-20 side that won bronze at the 2015 World Youth Championships in New Zealand.

The 20-year-old was promoted to the senior team of Red Bull Salzburg in 2015, but struggled to nail down a place in the first team of the Austrian giants.

He was subsequently twice farmed out on loan to lower division side FC Liefering, where he made 11 appearances last season.

However, the young Ghanaian goalkeeper has now decided to move to the second-tier of French football after signing a three-year deal with FC Sochaux.

Ati Zigi underwent a successful medical on Sunday before putting pen to paper in a deal that will see him stay with the Ligue 2 side until 2020.
