Limoblaze clinches first MOBO Awards victory in “Best Gospel Act” category

This victory marks Limoblaze's debut at the MOBO Awards, adding another milestone to his illustrious career.

The MOBO Awards, renowned as the United Kingdom's premier celebration of black music and culture, held its 26th edition in Sheffield on February 7, 2024, at the Utilita Arena Sheffield.

Limoblaze's win in the Best Gospel Act category, supported by Premier Gospel, underscores his remarkable talent and contribution to the Gospel music scene in the UK.

Among the nominees vying for the esteemed accolade were Annatoria (UK), Calledout Music (UK), Guvna B (UK), Tofunmi Adorna (UK), and Triple O (UK).

However, it was Limoblaze's unique blend of Hip Hop and Afrobeats, coupled with powerful lyrics and anointed rap delivery, that captivated audiences and earned him the top spot.

This triumph at the MOBO Awards adds to Limoblaze's impressive list of accolades since his relocation to the UK as an artiste.

Prior to this win, he has secured 3 Premier Gospel Awards, 2 A Step FWD Awards, and held 2 sold-out London concerts, solidifying his status as an emerging force to be reckoned with in the gospel music scene.

Furthermore, Limoblaze earned nominations from the Dove Awards for "Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year" and "Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year" with his works "Jireh" and "Sunday in Lagos," respectively.

He was also nominated for “Best Inspirational Single” at Nigeria’s esteemed music awards, The Headies.
