Barcelona forward relaxes with son during post-season break

He ended his football season in sadness, losing the Copa America final with Argentina to Chile.

Lionel Messi however seems to have gotten the defeat out of this mind as he relaxes with his son during his vacation.

The player is enjoying his post-season break with his family in the Carribbean and is seen posing with his son who is kitted out in a Newell's Old Boys polo shirt.

The photo shows that Messi still holds his boyhood club to his heart.

The four time Ballon d'Or winner was last weekend honoured by Newell's Old Boys supporters who held a banner with the inscription "Messi: Being the best is what separates us from the rest."

Messi played for the club before leaving at a young age for Barcelona and it is thought that the forward will finish his career with them.
