David Accam has been named in the Major Soccer League Team of the week after scoring for his side Chicago Fire as they drew 1-1 against Columbus Crew.

Accam 26, scored in the opening day of the MLS last weekend and his splendid performance earned him a place in the team of the week.

David Accam is expected to feature for Chicago Fire when they face Real Salt in the upcoming weekend.

Last season he was voted the Chicago Fire Player of the season.
