Ex-Kotoko coach nears Liberty Professionals move
Michael Osei is on the verge of joining Liberty Professionals as head coach of the club, following his sack from Asante Kotoko, according to a close source.
The former Black Stars midfielder took over from David Duncan last season as caretaker coach of Asante Kotoko and managed to lift the team from the drop zone to a fifth-place finish by the end of the season.

However, the new management team of the Porcupine Warriors headed by Dr. Kwame Kyei replaced him with Croatian Ddravko Lugarusic before the start of the season.
Michael Osei is expected to be appointed by the Scientific Soccer lads within the shortest possible time as coach of the Dansoman based club.
Sellas Tetteh is currently the technical director of Liberty Professionals with Ofosuhene working as the assistant coach of the club.
Michael Osei joined Kotoko in the 2013-14 season as assistant coach from New Edubiase United.
He assisted Masud Didi Dramani to win a historic double of FA Cupa and league title for the Porcupine Warriors in the 2013-14 season.
